No support or very slow too respond

Overall Live Suite has served me well. When crashes sometimes happen though and you send crash reports and ask them the reason you very rarely get an answer back from them so have to do your own investigation which can take a while.
I also find their staff too be very rude when answering emails on some occasions for other support. As a result I am no longer upgrading to new versions of Live Suite and will eventually go over to software from another company. Like I said Live has been good for me but I think the staff and company support is not so good to actually being quite rude.

Ableton is cool with session view and arrangement view.10/10
Always found ableton good
Any daw takes time to learn if your new.customer service has to run along side the daw so you can get help without waiting 5 years or more.
Highly recommended if your new.play around with it,go on youtube as there is great learning tools on there and on abletons website.
Maybe start with lite edition and make your way up.hope this helps.
Ps also read the specs for running it.
You will need about 8gb ram and i5 processor.its all at ableton website.
Ableton are gold winners 10/10
Ps:I find it user friendly, easy to navigate.and it's cool for plugins(vst) too.i am not affiliated with ableton im just a customer.good luck you will make a great choice with ableton.

A real nice daw

A real nice daw. It comes with a few free plug-ins that will be more than enough for beginners.
For more advansed users, you'll need to get a few more plug-ins for an extra cost on 3rd party websites, but, Ableton makes it quite easy to set them up.

ABLETON IS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE!

Ableton does not seem to care for its customers.. it is a great program when it works but sadly that is increasingly rare! every day for the past few months I have lost hours of time and been very frustrated with the program it continually crashes and is the most unstable DAW around! I have spent a lot of money with them and still they don't care enough even to try to help me! they rarely reply and the last time they did it was simply to say they are busy and it might take a while to get back to me.. meanwhile I have paying customers who's records are held up and its causing frustration for me and them.. also i'm losing money and have now lost a lot of money and a few clients because of it..
I am going to stop using their gear and sell the push2 because without using Ableton I dont see the point in using the hardware anymore..
I would recommend people go to another DAW it seems any one but Ableton is at least stable enough to work in...
Ableton if you are reading this.. you should be ashamed that you created such a good idea but failed to make it stable enough to work with, and then sold it and made millions and then fail to even allocate enough staff to reply to customers when things are going wrong... your crash zip system is floored because you never get back to anybody! you are basically taking the mickey out of artists and wasting their time! I am now telling everyone including my students and clients NOT TO USE ABLETON OR LIVE SOFTWARE PERIOD. its not worth the time wasted messing around trying to get around the problems I am deeply annoyed with you people!

Disappointed

After being a customer for 5 years my recent experiences needing technical help have proven this is a company quick to take a customers money, but sadly slow to provide essential help / customer care with poor excuses for justification .

Customer service - Kundenbetreuung

English / Deutsch weiter unten:
*** Edit: Thanks to trustpilot a solution has been achieved ***
I am an Ableton user over 10 years now. Back in times the people of customer services, i.e. TELEPHONE service have been very helpful.
However, since the beginning of 2020 "due to Corona" as the voice mail of Ableton is putting it automatically, only email support will be provided (remark: despite the fact that there have been little covid infections in Berlin).
Okay, accepted (there is a but, in fact more resources should be available now answering emails faster, because - as you know - telephone calls usually take longer than writing emails).
So, I have written an email almost a week ago, and, guess what.. no reply so far.
Three days ago I have forwarded this matter to the press office of Ableton, and? Orlando immediately replied that someone of the customers department will get in touch with me right away. No answer so far.. nothing in my spam folder..
Sorry mates remember where you came from. Being complacent is not a good business approach..
PS
It is the same kind of development of Native Instruments (also Berlin based = Berlin attitude as we put in Germany = uncool). No customer service means losing customers. There are enough free software solutions out there anyways.

Yep I've been using Ableton for years…

Yep I've been using Ableton for years and I just upgraded to Standard 10 I was not disappointed the only small issue I have is Ableton let you try Standard for free for a couple of months what they don't say is Standard does not come with all the instruments in the trial version which means some tracks you made you cannot save or export The idea is to make you buy more software, otherwise its an excellent DAW with great customer support.

Amazing customer support. Had a reply fixing a corrupted session within a couple of hours - and within the pandemic too.
